Our Story

Hello Lovely was born from a simple desire—to create the kind of space I felt was missing for myself and for so many other women. I wanted a place where shopping felt relaxed and joyful again, where women could reconnect with what it feels like to feel good in their skin and in their clothes.

My hope has always been to create a space where women of all ages and sizes feel welcome to explore their style again without pressure or expectation. A place where fashion becomes less about fitting into something, and more about discovering pieces that feel like you. After all, we wear the clothes…they don’t wear us.

Rather than focusing on size, Hello Lovely focuses on feeling. Each piece is thoughtfully curated through color, texture, and individuality—items chosen because they spark something: confidence, curiosity, nostalgia, or simply joy. Fashion should be expressive and playful, not restrictive.

The name Hello Lovely is something I’ve always said naturally when I come across something special. When I opened my original shop in 2020, I had no idea how meaningful those words would become. Just one week after signing my lease, the world shut down as the pandemic began. When the doors were finally able to open, hearing customers smile and repeat the name back—Hello Lovely—brought small moments of joy during a time when the world felt heavy.

Opening that shop was something I will always be proud of. When it eventually closed just over a year later, I found myself grieving not just the space itself, but all of the conversations, connections, and moments we never got to experience.

Over the years, it has meant more to me than I can express to hear from friends and former customers who shared their fond memories of the shop and their hope that one day it might return. Their stories, encouragement, and belief in Hello Lovely stayed with me.

Now, six years later, I am beyond thrilled to once again have a space to call home for Hello Lovely.

While the original shop offered consignment, this next chapter will look a little different. For now, Hello Lovely will focus on thoughtfully curated secondhand pieces for your wardrobe and home. Consignment won’t be part of the shop just yet… but as with most good things in life, we can never say never.

More than anything, Hello Lovely has always been about community and connection. I’ve long believed that when we share our stories with one another, they begin to weave together. And in that weaving, something beautiful happens—our bonds grow stronger, and the spaces we create together become richer, warmer, and more meaningful.

Because sometimes all it takes is the right piece, the right moment, and the right place to remind us how lovely it feels to be ourselves.
